Angle Snap
Piece rotations are done in discrete increments. The value of this angle step is displayed (in degrees) on the right of the status bar.
The angle snap can be disabled using the Angle Snap Toggle icon of the toolbar
. This button acts as a toggle. When it looks depressed
the angle snap function is active.
Angle snap value may be modified using the Preferences menu. Choose "Preferences" under the "View" menu, then go to the "Drawing Aids" tab and change "Angle snap" value. Only integer values are allowed.
Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts. Various angle snap values are selected with Shift + 0, 1...8 keys (default key definitions).
| Keyboard Shortcut | Angle snap value |
| Shift + '0' | 1° |
| Shift + '1' | 5° |
| Shift + '2' | 10° |
| Shift + '3' | 15° |
| Shift + '4' | 30° |
| Shift + '5' | 45° |
| Shift + '6' | 60° |
| Shift + '7' | 90° |
| Shift + '8' | 180° |
