Installation

Installation is very easy, all you need to do is go to the files page and download the latest version of LeoCAD to your computer, then double click it and follow the setup instructions.

Once you have LeoCAD installed take a look a the Online Tutorials to learn how to use it, or visit the LeoCAD Gallery to see a few creations from other users.

Note: It's strongly recommended that you have the latest drivers for your video card installed, for more information on how to update your drivers please visit the card manufacturer's website.

Extra Downloads

POV-Ray and LGEO: If you would like to use LeoCAD to raytrace images of your projects, you'll need to download and install the POV-Ray program and for even better results you should also get the LGEO library. You can find more information on their respective sites.
These files are not required to run the program.

Shell Extensions DLL (44 kb): This is a simple DLL that shows some information about a LeoCAD or LDraw file when you move the mouse cursor over an icon in Windows Explorer, just like any Microsoft Word or Excel document. Take a look at the README.TXT file inside for installation instructions.
